Hotel Reviews

Delano Las Vegas

By  |

This hotel property is associated with Mandalay Bay and sometimes the complex is considered one casino with 2 hotels. They are both owned by MGM Resorts. Many review sites don’t list the Delano separately. Here it is, distinctly, on Google Maps.

To add to that, sometimes Delano is mixed up with The D. No — they are very different places; this hotel is in the South part of the Las Vegas Strip and connected to Mandalay while The D is all the way downtown. They are both boutique hotels but here it is less youth-oriented —- it has style and unostentatious but definite elegance. It makes for a very comfortable stay in the midst of noisy Vegas. No legs on the building, either. Being part of Mandalay Bay’s complex, it also has a Beach Club and pools (some are common to both hotels). There are separate beaches for exclusivity: The Moorea Beach Club is a private adults-only tops-optional space, where poolside massage services from personal attendants are available. There’s a poolside casino to enjoy as well.

The hotel has a bathhouse spa and gym.

Delano Restaurants

Rivea – has French and Italian cuisine from Chef Alain Ducasse.
Franklin – with its bar and nighttime entertainment, serves artisan pizza, sliders, other cocktail and finger foods.

Things to note: The player rewards card is M Life (MGM Resorts). The hotel is Pet-Friendly; see link for details.
